Frame and Parts

Gold’s Gym Stride Trainer 350i comes in an oval shape with steel construction. Its rear base has adjustable stabilizers that have rubber caps to protect it from any scratches from the floor and keeps the balance while working.

The console, flywheel, pulley guards and pedals are the only parts that are non-metallic. Anti-corrosive paint is used to protect the steel from damages.

The pedals are made of heavy-duty nylon material which is so durable that they last for years and have the room for all size feet.

It has also got two sets of handlebars which include pulse sensors. By putting hands onto these handlebars while exercising, the console then can capture the heart rate of the user and also offers different postures for workouts.

Resistance and Drive

The resistance system of Stride Trainer 350i is a magnetic motor system. The motor controls the flywheel of the machine while exercising and the resistance can be adjusted to 12 levels from the console.

The motor and the console uses 4x AA type batteries to run and it should last for several months.

Assembly and Maintenance

Assembly instructions are available on the manual which comes with the package. Few of the parts are already assembled and comes in the plastic packing.

The other parts the user has to assemble in order to make the machine work. Assembling the machine can take up to an hour.

Maintaining the machine is not difficult at all because the only parts which need to be lubricated are the joints if they start to make the noise.

The flywheel comes already lubricated from the factory and needs no further lubrication.
