Anthony Bennett

Anthony Harris Bennett is a professional basketball player who’s born on 14th March 1993 in Toronto Ontario. He was a part of Nevada University in Las Vegas during his college career. He was also known as the best-drafted player by analysis. His professional career started in 2013 when he was picked by Cleveland Cavaliers. He was the only player in Canada at that time to be the 1st pick in any draft. Anthony Bennett is also a part of the Canadian National Basketball team.


Anthony Bennett’s mother was a nurse in Jamaica. She played netball in her childhood age. He also has an older sister whose name is Danielle and an older brother whose name is Sheldon. He spent his childhood in Brampton.


Anthony Bennett studied in Brathwaite School located in Brampton. He was shifted in West Virginia to be a part of Mountain State Academy. After he was graduated from high school, he went to UNLV college for his further studies. There he played basketball too and his average was 16 points and 8 rebounds per single game.


Anthony Bennett’s professional career started when he was picked by Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA draft of 2013. He played there for 1 year and signed for Minnesota Timberwolves. After 1 year Toronto Raptors signed him for a 1-year deal. Again after 1 year he changed his team and joined Brooklyn Nets for 1 year. Later on, he signed for Fenerbahce in 2017. After 1 season he went on to sign for Phoenix Suns in 2017 where he played for 2 seasons. He has also led his team Canada in FIBA Championship U17 in 2010.
